What is it like
to work at Fathm?
Employee wellbeing is paramount to our company values. Work/life balance is strongly encouraged and remote working is our normal arrangement. Our team are based in the UK and Kenya, but we deliver in-person work across the world. Mexico, Brazzaville and Taiwan are just a few of the countries we’ve visited recently. Fathm employees also work a four-day week, from Monday to Thursday (read more).
Despite being a distributed team, we recognise the importance of building bonds. Once a week we take a break and reboot over a Scandi-style virtual fika (strictly no work chat) and we get together twice-annually for fun summer and winter team parties.
Benefits of working at Fathm
-
At Fathm we encourage our team to set and work towards goals relating to their future career, education and personal development. We support them in creating a structured plan to develop their current skills, or acquire new ones, to reach their longer-term goals. That might include job-related experiences, interactions with others, or formal events and training courses.
-
Many factors can influence how any individual feels about their work, or their life and the circumstances in which they find themselves. We strive to ensure that our culture and working environment ensures every employee feels able to ask questions or share concerns, to experiment and explore opportunities, to speak up when they disagree or are unwell, anxious or overwhelmed. At all times, employees are treated in appropriate confidence with understanding and with respect.
-
At Fathm we welcome and support people of all backgrounds and identities. We believe that our differences can be our strengths: different people have different perspectives on issues, and that can be valuable for solving problems or generating new ideas. We can all find strength in diversity.
